Delete your account

Request deletion from the app

1. Sign in to your CrewHouse worker or organiser account.
2. Open your profile and select Privacy & Policy.
3. Select Delete Account and confirm your request.

If you can still access the app, this is the fastest method because CrewHouse can securely verify the signed-in account.

Request deletion without the app

If you uninstalled the app or cannot sign in, send a deletion request from your registered email address to crewhouselimited@gmail.com.

Include only:

• Your registered email address;
• Whether your account is a worker or organiser account; and
• The last four digits of your registered mobile number, if one is attached to the account.

Do not send your password, one-time verification code, Aadhaar, PAN, bank documents, or other identity documents by email.

Prepare an account deletion email

Identity verification

We must verify that the request comes from the account holder before deleting an account. We may reply to the registered email address or ask you to complete a secure sign-in step. We will not ask for your password or one-time verification code.

What will be deleted

After verification, CrewHouse will delete the authentication account and delete or irreversibly anonymise associated data that is not legally required. Depending on your role, this may include:

• Worker or organiser profile and contact information;
• Profile images, selfies, and uploaded verification files;
• Applications, offers, events, staffing requirements, and related activity;
• Notification preferences and active device sessions; and
• Ratings, reviews, attendance, and gig records where deletion is possible, or their irreversible anonymisation where the record must remain for another user or a lawful purpose.

Information that may be retained

CrewHouse may retain limited payment, tax, accounting, safety, fraud-prevention, legal, or dispute records where retention is required or permitted by applicable law. Retained records are isolated from active accounts, access restricted, used only for the permitted purpose, and deleted or anonymised when that purpose or legal obligation ends.

Residual encrypted backups may remain temporarily until they rotate under our service providers' backup schedules.

Time required

We aim to complete verified account deletion requests within seven days. If additional time is required because of a legal obligation, unresolved transaction, security review, or dispute, we will explain the reason and next steps using your registered contact information.
